Travel Bike
Bike tourism in Buenos Aires — simple, fast, and actually fun to use.
Role UI Designer
Duration 2 months
Overview
A mobile app concept to simplify bike rentals for tourists in Buenos Aires. Browse, book, and ride — all in under a minute. Real-time availability, route suggestions, and payments built in.
The Challenge
Existing rental services had clunky interfaces and unclear pricing. Tourists needed something as smooth and instant as a ride-share, not a form with 12 fields.
The Solution
A 3-step booking flow powered by a live map, upfront pricing, and a visual language borrowed from cycling culture and Buenos Aires street photography.

Key Learnings
- I'm not the target user — designing for tourists meant dropping my local assumptions.
- A minimal flow with one clear action per screen doubled perceived usability.
- Local visual references (street art, tile patterns) made it feel like Buenos Aires, not a generic app.
